The Minister of Rural Development and Food presented the Greek Presidency priorities to the COMAGRI (Agriculture and Rural Development Committee) of the European Parliament, on January 21, in Brussels. 
 
Minister Tsaftaris noted that "When we talk about Agriculture and Fisheries, we  talk about an important sector of European economy, a pillar of growth and employment, a sector that ensures the quality of our food, respecting natural resources and society".

Greek Health Minister to participate at Health Inequalities Conference (Brussels, 23.01.14)

The Greek Minister of Health, Spyridon-Adonis Georgiadis, representing the Greek Presidency of the EU, will participate at the Final Conference on “Addressing Health Inequalities: 2014 and Beyond - Building Cohesion and Strengthening Health for Growth”, taking place in Brussels, on 23.1.2014.

Minister Athanasiou presents Presidency priorities in the area of Justice to European Parliament

Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights Charalampos Athanasiou presented on January 21 in Brussels the Greek Presidency priorities to the JURI (Legal Affairs) and LIBE (Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs) Committees of the European Parliament.
