The provisional website of the upcoming Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union will function until the end of December 2013, when it will be replaced by its final version.

Greek PM Samaras at European leaders Conference on youth unemployment (Paris, 12.11.2013)

Upon the invitation of French President François Hollande, twenty four European leaders participated, on Tuesday 12 November 2013, at a Conference in Paris in order to discuss the issue of youth unemployment, which has been pointed out as one of the most pressing problems that Europe currently faces.

Priorities of the Greek presidency to be discussed at the Breakfast Policy Briefing of the EPC (Brussels, 29.11.2013)

Ambassador Theodoros Sotiropoulos, Permanent Representative of Greece to the European Union has been invited to discuss the priorities of the Greek Presidency of the EU on Friday, 29 November 2013 in Brussels, during the Breakfast Policy Briefing, organised by the prestigious think tank European Policy Centre (EPC). Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras in Malta and Italy for joint action on illegal immigration

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras visited Malta and Italy on Monday 21 October 2013 as part of an initiative focusing on illegal immigration. His visit was held in the light of the upcoming Greek EU Presidency in January 2014, to be followed by the Italian one on the second semester of 2014.

Tepsa Pre-presidency Conference, Athens 10-11.10.2013

The pre-presidency Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) conference, organized in view of the upcoming Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union by TEPSA and the Greek Centre of European Studies and Research (EKEME), with the support of the European Commission Representation in Greece, was held in Athens between 10 and 11 October 2013 under the title “To overcome the crisis, the EU must move ahead”.
